Do not be afraid.
In the end, “Everybody dies.” My mind told me this morning as I held on to the doors of the train, barely holding on to anything. “What if the electrical wiring of this train suddenly went haywire, and you fell out of this moving train? Won’t you die?” My mind replied itself, “I will try as much as possible to hold on to something or do some Matrix trick so that I will not fall out and get injured or worse die.” My mind was still persistent “Everybody dies.”
It really doesn’t matter when you were born, It doesn’t matter where you were born, It doesn’t matter how you were born, It doesn’t matter who you were born to,The race you were born into doesn’t matter, The place you were born doesn’t matter, The food you were fed doesn’t matter, The clothes you wore doesn’t matter, The brothers and sisters you had or didn’t have doesn’t matter. The circumstances in which you were born, doesn’t matter. It all doesn’t matter. All the money you now have doesn’t matter, that college degree you have doesn’t matter, the parties you go to don’t matter, the car you now drive doesn’t matter, even the children you have now don’t matter..
What matters is that you know why you were made a human being on this earth we all live in. Why are we here? If you know the reason, then the fear of death will not be an obstacle to fulfilling that reason. Look at Peter when he was walking on water with Jesus, for a moment, he was not afraid of death, Jesus repeated countless times in his teachings,
(But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”)
(But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.”)
Matthew 28:10 (Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”)
(Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”)
Mark 6:50, Luke 12:4, John 6:20, John 14:27, Acts 18:9, 1Peter 3:14.
He knew life would not be easy, that’s why he came to redeem our souls so we can have that choice in eternal life. why should I worry, why should I fret, why should I give myself hypertension over the things of this world, why should I be afraid? He got my back.
